Hey don't worry thats normal.

The Athlon X2 uses a speed stepping proocess to reduce heat when not doing demanding things, and also lowers its speed on battery to conserve power.

If you want to run at the max speed just go into the control pannel for power settings. Or alternatively if its icon on your start bar left click on the icon which shows your power situation: its either a picture of a battery when not plugged in to the mains electricity, or a charger when plugged in.

From there you can select your power profile, Alwayse on should set the CPU to max speed which I can only recommend doing on mains electricity as on battery you'd run out of juice seriously quickly.

As for the clock to fix it go into bios (you can enter that by pressing F2 at bootup during the sager logo screen) and make sure the clock is set to 24 hour. It won't work with 12 hour and that issue has never been fixed as far as I know. Besides Eurpean 24 hour clock is seriously more useful, why use 12 - when theres 24 hours in the day?

Hope that was helpful! Good Luck
