Wuxga

I have the Dell 8600 with WUXGA screen (1920 X 1200). I dont feel that everything is too small but I would love a way to drop the resolution slightly without making everything go blurry - is there a way?

I know I can change icon sizes etc. but for instance I fond the tabs on the display properties applet to be non-resizable!

I've been trying to make sense of this. My wife has a Compaq Evo N600c running Win2k. I've change the resolution to everything available and it has always stayed sharp. Why is this and why do others go blurry?

How does this work with games? do you have to run in 1920x1200 in games too? or at least, how well does it look when you have to size it down...

Most of the games i have dont support the 1920X1200 aspect ratio so I have to play them in 1280x1024, most of the games look fine but a little stretched. Neverwinter Nights is one I had installed in my 8600 that had 1920x1200 and it looked great. I think most games coming out in the next year are going to support the 1920x1200 ratio. Unreal Tournament 2004 is one that looks fantastic in 1920x1200

how does it really look when, say, typing in Word, at that resolution (1900 x 1200) and is there any way to actually test this on a regular 1024 x 768 (like a certain font i could change it to)? thanks
