Whenever i switch to battery from AC my screen brightness decreases and i end up having a screen which looks like crap to look at after the amazing full brightness level screen on AC. I understand that you can raise and lower brightness settings on battery power but you will have to do that using the Fn keys and the arows keys. Is there some way i can get my 8600 to keep brightness settings on brightest when i switch from AC to battery? I know that there is a setting in the BIOS, i have tried it and changed it to full brightness, but as soon as windows loads up, i think quickset changes those settings. Any help will be appreciated.
