9300 BSOD on new drivers + lid closing/open resolution

Hello,

My first issue is that if I try to upgrade my drivers to anything newer....When I reboot, I cannot get into windows, I always end up with a BSOD. (6800GO/84.30 DELL)

Second issue is that if I close my lid, when I re-open it appears as if the desktop was in 800x600 or something...all the icons re-arrange and I see the box flash.

Thoughts?

try newer drivers from guru3d.com

I have had good luck with the dhzeropoint and the NGO drivers.
