I have a question about the screen, I got the 12 inch WXGA but NOT the AV package with webcam etc.
I've been told the A/V package has a better screen is this true?

ahhh nevermind, i see it's just a random chance to get the AUO?

Also quick question, with 9 cell and 7400, what can i expect my battery life to be? around 4.5 hours?
3.5
nah
I get 3 hrs on a 6 cell
NHC shows the On battery load with medium brightness between 14-18W during general usage (Surfing/chatting etc.)

a 85Whr battery should give you between 4.5 -5 hours assuming you aren't gaming on the battery or spinning a DVD in the drive

use powerstrip to find your screen type and post it... i have the toshiba screen, but i have an auo on my 710m... the toshiba is awfull... my eyes start to bug me.. dell is sending me a replacement system... we'll see what I get

Update: I have documented more or less exact instructions on how to fix the screen on the m1210. Visit http://m1210screenfix.blogspot.com/
