what is "system base device"? dell 9400

i just did a complete reinstall on my dell 9400. i dont have the driver cd. in my device manager it says 3 uninstalled drivers and it says "system base device". not sure if i have blue tooth but i tried installing both bluetooth drivers and they wont install.

2)Also i have a dell x1400 and i installed hte driver but CCC wont pop up. it says cli.exe error any idea?

fixed it . it was some ricoh driver.

well number 2 is easy. You need to go to Windows update and install .NET . Do all the required updates too... This will take care of that error. And others too.

as far as #1... I would start by going to dell and getting ALL of the drivers for your system and install them. If that doesnt take care of it, I would call dell and see what they are...

update... I did a search for you and it says that your problem should be remedied by installing the chipset driver from dell..
