Anyone with Satellite 5205 series needing DVD-RAM drive

This seller on Ebay has an excellent deal going on them. This drive slides right into the (empty) Style Bay if you recently purchased a 5205-S119. This IS NOT the same drive that Toshiba is selling (or rather clearing out) right now for $99. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this drive is much better, with faster DVD write and rewrite speeds. Check out his auctions. They've been selling for ~$140 to $160.

Drive reads/writes DVD-RAM, but it is NOT any faster

I got one of these drives (manufactured by matsu****a, not toshiba) and while it is true that they are able to write to DVD-RAM, they are the same write speed (1X) for DVD-R/RW.. If you really need the DVD-RAM, go for them, but if you don't, I think you are better off with the SD-R6012. There are plenty of the SD-R6012 on ebay nowadays!
