I'm running on multi-monitor mode on my notebook (sig) and want to game on the 2nd CRT...but games only plays on the notebook's LCD. How can I reverse this?

Usually cames only work on the primary display. With a laptop, you might not be able to use the built-in monitor as a secondary display, but I would try setting the external as the primary display from the Windows Display settings dialog box.

Set the external monitor as the primary display or the "only" display.

Hi,
I have small problem with external display.
I have set the external display as primary and only,
and when I open my laptop the screen changes to my laptop display
And I have to fn+f8 all the time...
Is this possible to set the external display as the only display forever
(not only for windows but bios, bootup, etc) ?
Thanks

No, I am quite sure that it is not. That setting is a Windows setting. I've never seen a BIOS that will allow you to set an external screen as the default screen.

In windows, one way to avoid the screen changes is to set both screens to the same resolution and have them be clones. That way, even if you open up the lid, the display should not vanish from the TV.

if you go into advanced settings in the windows display properties, i know you are able to change external to be target and laptop to be the mirror, and only then are you able to use the regular windows display properties to shut off the "second monitor" which is your laptop, and keep your external on.

try that, and if it doesn't work, report back. it may be somewhere else along the line of my configuration, but i think that is what sets it.

So I changed to dualview, that's the only way I can keep my external display resolution (1680x1050).
It's flicking all the time I open or close the lid of the laptop but screen is still on the external display. Yes, this is some outway for this problem.
Thanks.
