You dont need the tv tuner for this do you? I installed the drivers and opened the program that it also installed, and it says I have no video capture hardware.

Things like MSN also do not detect it.

Anyone get this thing to work?

Try FN+F10.

If its dark and you see a little put the camera in more light and see if it gets better

f10 has no fn key appointed to it, F7 has a picture that is kind of wierd (rectangle with 2 squares inside of it) but when hit, the screen goes black for a second and does nothing. id guess multiple monitor button maybe.

As for not enough light, thats not the issue because I cant find a way to get it to take a picture in the first place.

Are you sure that FN+F10 doesn't work? It's the same thing with my 5720, theres no picture on the F10 key. And your right, FN+F7 is for swapping to an external monitor.

have you pushed the silver button above the f12 key? it's just to the right of the blue sli enabled light and has a picture of a movie camera above it.

Silver button worked, I thought had hit it before but it was without the capture program open so I figured it was for tv tuner or something, when the program was open it found the camera and installed it again and then it worked

thanks!

Same thing happened to me when I re-installed windows. I finished loading all the drivers and could'nt get the camera working. Then hit that button and whamo.

BTW how is your keyboard? Is the key action all the same? Mine sound more quiet around the edges, and seem a little rattley near the center.
