it comes with 1 partition. and yes craig is righ tpartition magic is an excellent progam for creating a second one.

or you could just do a fresh install and creat 2 right off the bat.

You pretty much are getting what you are paying for with this laptop. It is a desktop replacement anda gaming machine and it performs at the expected levels. My expecations were through the roof and unreaosnable, but the 51m still managed to meet those expactations. I give this laptop my full endorsement!

a full 5 Rating!
Excellent review but AW only offers 15" wide screens now (why?) and Sagers TV tuner is internal. No extra stuff to carry. Also they can use Raid for the 2 HDD.
So I'm really reconsidering this whole AW thing and thinking about a Sager.

The consensus around here is that AW is emptying out their stock before introducing their new 16.1" model. Regardless, many people feel that the 16.1" screen, at ~500$ CDN more, is overpriced, and ill-suited to gaming with it's higher response time.

Also, who needs an internal TV tuner? You're going to be plugging your laptop into the same place every time, so why bother to move an external TV tuner? Jamaster's solution seems to work rather well.

Yeah i really agree... even with the itnernal TV tuner you'd still ahve to carry 2 coaxiel cables and a splitter everywhere you went plus the rmeote for the tv tuner if you wanted that...

how oftena re you gonna be recording TV in your car, boat, plane. library, school classroom or someone elses house?

there are much worse problems you are going to encounter in life otehr than not being able to afford a computer,.. i dont think you should cry over it...

i understand you want one really bad but just be patient and work for it and when you get it you'll be that much happier...

plus right now isnt a good tiem to buy... no colors, no 16" screen,... by the tiem you save you'll eb abel tog et the new screen, video card, color, maybe 2 Gb of RAM...who knows!

I really do not think that is public opinion, especially since more people are going with the 16" screen. from my experience it is great for gaming, i havent had any ghosting in any game ive played. and i dont know about now but when i configured mine the 16.1" screen was +299 not 500

The problem you have with Halo is common with ATI cards. Exit game, crank settings on the card all to "QUALITY" and then enter game. start a game, then exit. Then return the settings to the regular settings, and you should be good.
