Battery Loose!!!

For all of the M1210 owners does your 9 cell battery feel kinda loose? I attached my 6 cell battery and it is really tight but when I reattach the 9 cell it feels really flimsy. It also wobbles when I pick it up. On my last ultraportable (710m) it had a 8 cell battery that also stuck out but it did not feel loose at all. Anyways just seeing how common this is. Sorry if all of this sounds anal but I have returned laptops because of this.

I don't have the 9 cell...but wasn't there post about there being latches or something to make the battery tight?

I searched and never found that post. I was never aware about the latches. Can anybody fill me in real quick.

I have a 6 cell and a 9 cell and my 6 cell was loose, but the 9 cell was decently tight. I called up dell and they sent me a new 9 cell. Got the 9 cell and it is just as loose as the 6 cell. Oh well... I tried. crappy problem though.

Yeah well not sure what to do about it. Maybe I should shrug it off because I love this machine but it just sucks having to pick it up and wondering why its like that. I guess its more annoying than anything. I guess will see within my 21 days

yeah, if you can afford (not moneywise, timewise is what I mean) to send it back and get a new one or something, then you do what you gotta do...

Yeah I hear ya man. I wonder if they will replace the whole system or just the battery? As the other guy mentioned above I believe he was just sent a battery.
