XP Home or Pro for Gaming notebook

I'm looking at a gaming notebook and was wondering if I should go with home or professional XP. I know with the old NT a lot of stuff wouldn't run on that which would on 2000. Is that still the case?

THe only difference between XP Pro and home is there are some advanced networking configurations in Pro but those are only applicable if you are connecting to a Domain Controller. If you don't plan on doing any advanced networking then I suggest Home.

besides, home is cheaper and seeing how vista will be out in a few months and seeing that you're probably gonna end up upgrading to that why fork over the extra cash for windows pro? (I know the price diff is small but it's still the price of a videogame or something. lol)
