Phase 9 on the M5550

So yeah, this morning I called and checked with AW on my current systems status

and I finally hit phase 8

so then, when I got from work just now, I called again, and I then hit phase 9

yay!

It's 'carfefully' being packaged for shipping, so hopefully it will be done and out the door by tommorow.

I'm soooooo excited lol

I'm like a kid in a candy store - Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Update: I was on the phone with AW when I posted the above message.

'Henry' In Customer Service said that it will more than likely ship out tommorow, and then I'll recieve a tracking number for FedEx. And since they're in FL, and I'm in WI, he said roughly 3-5 days. So I could expect it on Friday or Saturday!!!

I hit phase 9 as well this morning. I'm hoping it gets shipped tomorrow. Maybe I can have my notebook by Saturday.

^ YAY! You'll probably get yours at the same time... I live in Maine so im pretty mad since now my ETA is Friday the 11th! Right now its in Orlando...

Yeah, I'm in WI, but they said today when I called that I will recieve the FedEx tracking info in my email before 3:00pm. If I don't then I'm supposed to contact them. I live in WI, so they said it would be roughly Fri/Sat for my arrival

Which then gives me the whole day on Sunday to write my review :P

3-4 days according to the rep at AW. I'm thinking I'll get it Monday but if it comes sooner I'll be pleasantly suprised.

FedEx is usually early for me most of the time. I typically get stuff from NewEgg.com and takes 2 days MAX (Atlanta, Georgia)...but then again I've heard AW uses FedEx Home/Ground(Don't know what the difference is but apparently there is...) which is horrible. Last time FedEx Home Delivery or whatever delivered a package it wasn't even delivered yet and on the tracking website it said it was already dropped off and SIGNED for by me (Guess I can be at two places at once huh?). And I've noticed that my regular FedEx guy is different from the Home Delivery guy...even drive different vehicles...

EDIT:
Just got off the phone with customer care and I think most if not all of our systems will ship out today. Apparently they're just waiting for the FedEx driver to issue the tracking numbers. I'm going to raise hell again if it doesn't ship today because I don't care how sloppy your company is run, it doesn't take 72 hours to ship a damn box.

Hey! I'm supposed to write up the first review ever, remember? lol. Mine should be here Thursday/Friday in the afternoon... around the time I head off for work! LOL. If I get it Friday, I will be pulling an all nighter playing with my alien and writing up a review with many MANY pics! lol

Anyways...Allastorm, I GUESS I can let you write...err...type the first review. But just keep in mind that your review will be below mine because mine'll be at the top with a big fat STICKY on it

I didn't cancel. I was a little worried after reading some backorder horror stories but mine actually went pretty fast - except my laptop sat in shipping for a couple days. I'm totally excited now. I've always wanted an Alienware.
