Yes i have that lovely Linksys WRT54G V5-V6 and it really sucks and im going to return it. I just dont know what I should get in its place... Can someone help me out with finding a good reliable wireless router? Sry if this isn't really laptop related, i thought i'd get some good help on this board

This is the one I have NETGEAR RANGEMAX MIMO G WIRELESS ROUTER
WPN824. Make sure if you get this one, you get one saying ver 2 or 3 on the box, the originals had lots of issues. I got mine works flawlessly and I get a great connection all over my house. Now I got the standard 54g dell nic card for my system, so I never connect at 108, always at 54. I did some reading on this and it got some great reviews from a couple of web pages, it kept up with the Pre-N routers. So thats my opinion.

^ he probably uses them as network bridges, for big ass houses, basically it just bounces the cignal on to the next one until it reaches the computer

just got WRT54GS to replace BEFw11s4 (also replaced the Belkin Pre-N which sucked). I use it in combo with my old 802.11b linksys signal booster and it works fine

My D-Link setup:

DCM-202 Cable Modem
DI-624 Router
DSM-G600 NAS (1x160GB Internal, 2x250GB External)

No hiccups w/ all the latest firmware.
