Can anyone recommend a good headset for the 355 2.0?

Sorry, "freaks out" probably doesn't mean much to someone who hasn't seen it, but that's what it's doing. It makes the Windows "Device Disconnected/Connected" (like when pressing Fn-F2) sounds about ten times in rapid succession, while the Tray icon is flashing from red to white, and after it's done throwing a fit, it still takes another 10-15 seconds to connect to anything. Fn-F2 works just like it should: this only happens when coming out of standby. And like I said before, this happens even when no devices are paired. Just for my peace of mind, should I see both "Dell Wireless 355 Module ..." and "Bluetooth Bus Enumerator" in the Device Manager? Thanks

So for those of you using the 355 with great success, are you also using Dell QuickSet? and which BIOS version are you using? Thanks.

I don't have experience with the BT350 to compare it against, though.

Also, since this BT355 is Bluetooth 2.0, it should allow for faster data transfer rates (3mbps), so if anyone has those BT2.0 spec'd headsets/mice/keyboard, they'd probably be able to give us better reviews on BT355.

It sounds as if the TM355 is the holy grail for all the TM350 users on other threads [ http://www.notebookforums.com/thread130179.html ] who have been modding Widcomm stacks to use in place of the TM350's Dell/toshiba stacks. That is, if Dell is making this unit available through thier spare parts department.

Sykes,

Were you ever successful in finding a part number for the TM355 bluetooth
module? I've also been digging around trying to find a Dell part # for this card.

My research has produced the following possibilities: #430-1777; #430-1778; and #430-1779. All three were mentioned as the part# for the 355 card. I have no idea if any of these are correct or what the differences among them might be.

DG847 is the Dell Part number for the 350BT module.
RJ421 is the number for the 355BT module.

I have a similiar problem with the 355 and the v5.1.0.21 widcomm drivers.

I have a msft keyboard, logitech v270 mouse, and a pair of logitech wireless stereo headphones.

If the headphones are connected, the keyboard and/or mouse can't come out of standby.

I installed the bluesoleil stack and it didn't have these problems, but setpoint doesn't work with that stack.
