Activating MediaDirect Button

Ive gone through this forum and I dont think this problem has been addressed yet.

Heres what happened. I just bought an E1505 2 weeks ago and reformatted my computer and go rid of all the partition.
Recently I just found out what the mediaDirect button was for so Iwanted to get the function back.
So I tried the mediaDirect repair utility and it messed up my partition so I had to reinstall windows. So the next time I decided to try and reinstall mediaDirect instead which i was able to do successfully. I mean the reinstall created the partition for mediaDirect and copied all the neccesary files into the partition but when I shutdown and press the mediaDirect button nothing happens.

Is there a way to activate the button or something???

Any help with this will be much appreciated as Ive been trying to fix this problem for a long time.. Ive already gone through 4 installations of windows and running out of ideas.

thanks a lot.. I will read it possibly after my finals and see if i can solve my problem
