Trying to rebuilt to Win XP Pro needs SATA drivers

Hello Guys, Can some one help me please as i am trying to rebuilt the laptop with Win XP Pro SP2. Asked for the SATA drivers which i found on siemens web site. But still the windows installation asking for the VIA RAID Combo Driver disk which i tried with varies files on a floppy with no luck. Any ideas/suggestions please guys. Than You in Advance...

Try the drivers on Via's website? Put the drivers on a CD? I don't know what else to tell you.

You need to "slipstream" the SATA drivers into a windows install cd. I never got around to doing it... Got a OS disc from the mfg fo free... and it installed smooth as silk so I dropped the project.

One of best programa to integrate drivers in a win xp installation is n-lite (http://www.nliteos.com/)

You need a win xp install cd-rom

and the sata via drivers:

-download the apropiate via sata driver of fujitsu-siemens, in the support area.

- unzip the file, and go to into the unzipped folder.

- Extract the folder "drvdisk" (this is the exact folder that you need)

- Use the folder "drvdisk" to integrate in win xp install cd.rom


N-lite have a assistant very easy to use
