I know what yo mean I'm bored too. Im a computer tech for a small local Bank we have 5 Branches in the emidiate area and 2 In Va Beach. I live in the shenandoah Vally wonderful place I love it here. Its great we get all 4 seasons in moderation and we dont have high Gas prices or Rent fo that matter and no traffic. Things here can get a little slow some times but thats kind of how I like it. I love to play PC Games goto what Local Lan-parties I can find. Its a smiple life but Its good enough for me I work from 8 to 4:30 every week day and I go home and play gmes every night. Oh yeha I'm married too and my wife enjoys gamming and stuff also! We get along great. I have A cat, 2 fish, and a Guine Pig! Umm I dont chew aspirin but um I do put Ketchup and BBQ sauce on every thing!

Architect in Hawaii. Long time SAGERite. Old enough to remember how much fun the 60s were. My idea of a good game is building the 3D model for a project, the payoff being my client's oohs and aahs and prompt payment of billings. I work at home, my commute is about 3', depending on what part of the bed I wake up on. Actually, you might say I live at work. Two cats and a hot little boat called MizKat (www.craigcat.com). My wife hates computers other than her Panasonic Hard Drive Recorder which occupies a special niche in her temple. I. on the other hand, firmly believe you can be two places at once even if you are nowhere at all. Powerful gasoline, a clean windshield and a shoeshine, what more could one want in life.

I'm a student in CompSci in college. Though here we have a different college system than the US; High school is until grade 11, then theres 2-3 years of college depending on the program, and then a variable years of university.

Anyhow, as both a gamer, and a CompSci student, I MUST HAVE LAPTOP! GIVE ME LAPTOP!

I'm a second-year university comp sci student in Canada. By day I'm avoiding class when I can; by night, I'm either helping hostile, seemingly mentally retarded people through their infantile electronics problems and questions at Radioshack, (a.k.a. the CrapShack.. your second-hand electronics store). I love Java for its ease of use; I hate it for its restrictions in the fields I'm interested in (mainly gaming), so I'm versed in both it and C++. I'm a musician, being a former bassist in rock bands and playing trumpet in jazz bands. All of my friends are famous, but I'm not - my wonderfully amazing girlfriend is one of the top architecture students in the university; my best guy friend tours with and/or is great friends with the members of Default (also touring with Evanescence), Nickelback, Three Days Grace, Staind, etc. My best non-romantic girl friend is an international model for Nygaard, and my other best friend who's a girl is friends with just about every NHL player out there, not to mention Obie Trice and D12 (minus Eminem so far). Thus I am inferior to those who surround me.

Consequently my life is exciting but not of my own fault. On a related note, anyone want to donate a laptop to me?

Ah, good old RadioShaq.

I prefer PHP to Java. Of course they're designed for completely different things.

Though... I did write a program to encapsulate a PHP script inside an EXE along with the PHP interpreter... And when I combined that with PHPGTK, I got an GUI application in a single EXE with no external dependencies, which was written in PHP... A game is surely possible
post #15 of 103
A stand-alone game is definitely possible, but I like working in C++ so I can extend current games without having to write an entire engine

Yes, I'm just that lazy/unmotivated.
