Shipping question (Canadians only)

Ordered a 9400 on Aug 3rd and it shipped on the 9th. I am currently tracking it in the US. I live in Manitoba.

Roughly, how long would it take to get here? Do shipments continue moving during the weekend?

I live in BC. When I ordered mine, I watched the phases and it had been shipped out on a friday (on truck from Texas I think). I got it Monday, so it must have been moving on the weekend. I think as long as it's on the truck, you can expect it within a few days.

Hope so! This time everything seems to moving much faster than usual.
It appears to be "in transit" and has been through a checkpoint so - if it does indeed move on the weekend - that would be great!

Once it ships, it doesn't take long at all. Once it crosses the border, you can track it with purolator (if that's the shipping they used).

Although they don't deliver on the weekend (Sundays at least), they may still move the trucks...

I ordered mine back in January (one of the first), and although the building took over a week, the actual shipping was only 3-4 days, if I remember correctly...

only problem

If it is on the truck, on the US side right now, I would expect some delays with today's security clamp-down. My M170 was delayed due to some increased in border security by about 5-6 days. If it's on the Canadian side, I would expect it in a couple days.

I thought about that (security) but do airline issues effect linehaul shipments generally? I can't imagine so. Only the airlines and airports have had thier security alert levels increased.

from what I understand, the levels of security are increased at all cross-border ports including ground when the terror threat is upscaled. Hopefully it won't impact you though!

Yeah, you're probably right. Oh well. I'd rather know people are safer and have to wait a few extra days for something that doesn't really matter in the end.

I live in the Ontario region and my dell has been stuck on the "in transit in u.s" since Wednesday morning. I wish it would come tomorrow lol but probably not haha so impatient

The stages mine went through :

14:08 2006/08/18 Arrived in Calgary
13:38 2006/08/21 Arrived in Vancouver
hopefully tomorrow arrive at my doorsteps.

So 8 days in all for shipping from texas. (+2 days for flight and 1 week for built)
