Right now I'm just watching a DVD and on nbf and I'm getting 58C for my CPU. Is this alright? My computer always seems to be pretty hot so I figured it was normal...

I've also noticed that the area on the right of my touchpad is pretty warm. Its definitely hotter than the HDD gets. Is this normal? I haven't heard anything about it, but I thought it was a little weird.

These CPUs can operate just fine at 100 degrees centigrade (that's the operational limit). 58 degrees is no problem whatsoever.
