Latitude D420 LCD -> XPS M1210?

Sorry to bring this up again. Anyone with both a M1210 & a D420 williing to be the guinea pig for this experiment? If the screen swap is indeed possible, I'm gonna be buying a D420 matte screen for my M1210. Thanks in advance to any help given.

Not that I really know anything about the subject...but doesn't the D420 have a clasp thing...so there would be no way to keep it closed. I think it's a different kind of hinge, which could be a problem

Huh?!?!? What I meant is just the swapping of the LCD, with maybe the LCD inverter & connecting cable. I do not mean swapping the whole LCD assembly set (including LCD top lid & LCD bezel).
