Asus vs. Sager

As many of you know, im in the market for a notebook. i basically got all the parts i want decided upon. however, as im going aroudn to many websites, ive been filing in these parts on many diff systems.

my question is if i bascailly get the same parts in a sager 5750 that i would get in a asus 96j...which would be faster? is the sager's higher price tag worth it

they are in COMPLETELY different ballparks, the sager is 17" the asus is 15". if you're gonna get a 17" might as well look at the 5760...same as the 50 but has an nVdia 7900gtx 512mb in it ....which will give you significantly better gaming performance over the x1600. i would personally go ASUS b/c its more mobile and all around more "laptop" while the Sager is more like a desktop wrapped up in a laptop package...both are good systems though.

ok i understand...however the 5760 is too expensive for me?
