Acer Ferrari 5000 Delayed Until October - Page 2

ZipZoomFly claims to have the Ferrari 5000 in stock.

I'm starting to drink the Core Duo coolaid, though. I've held out for a long time for the TX2. But now, after learning about its performance relative to Core Duo coupled with the impending release of the 64-bit Merom, I just can't think of a reason to get a Turion. From what I'm seeing, I think you can configure a Core Duo system at many places for less money than a TX2, probably because of the short supply.

AMD's got me going

I was reading a comparsion about core duo vs turion x2 and under 1 of coments a person said that theres a driver that amd released for dual core prossesors that they didnt use, TL-58 wasnt fair behind t2400. With out it sompusedly.
After finding about that info i sent the link to my friend with a brand new AMD socket am2. We been thinking his ram was bad, but both sticks were fine. After installing that new driver, all the issues went away. Not only that but his 3dmark increase around 180 in 05 and 70 in 06.
