Mediadirect driver install question is issues

Thread Starter
I reformatted my hard drive and have everything up and running again. I used the Mediadirect install disk and reinstalled Medidirect. I added the taskmanager file during the install process and am able to access explorer from Mediadirect. I installed Nvidia drivers and sound card drivers in Mediadirect. My question is what other drivers do I need to install, do I need intel chipset drivers and all the other drivers that came with the computer? I am also having a problem in Mediadirect. It starts up and work, and I can watch Dvd's and listen to music. When I click on photos, nothing happens, it just sits there. When I try to search for music, it gets to 1% and then goes to blanks screen with mediadirect in upper left and just sits there. These are the only problems I am having, any help or suggestions? I have a 1710 XPS.

First thing is to try F8 and delete hibernation data (seems to work for many) as for the chipset drivers... that is a very good question.
I think I will try and install the chipset drivers once I get my notebook back from dell.

Also, you may want to install other codecs so you can play avi files, ogg files, etc... (I would just download your favorite codec pack and install)

Hope this helps, but be sure to try the F8 and delete hibernation as others have reported some success with that.
