does anyone know which is the newer and or the better video card ??
nvidia geforce go 6800 or the nvidia quadro fx 1400 ?

What do you plan on doing with the card?

For gaming get the 6800.

For 3D Work such as AutoCad, CAD, 3D Workstation, etc get the Quadro.

But I think there are some newer versions of those cards which are better by about 25%-50% if you need the power.

The Quadro 1400 and the 6800 are essentially the exact same video card. The only difference is the Quadro is optomised to work best on professional graphics apps like CAD or 3D rendering. Its performance MAY suffer in games because of that.

Why not get a 9890 or 9750 instead? They're the updated versions of the 9860. I'm not even sure where you can get the 60 anymore lol

sounds good but i got this one used on ebay cheap. and she needs to learn about the use of a p. c. plus i will have spare parts if ever i need them.
hope she never see's this ... L . O . L .

getting
sager 9860
nvidia quadro fx 1400
80 hdd
1 gig mem
t.v
wireless
all the goodies she knows nothing about..
oh well that's why we have g/friends right?
