Sentia m3450 -MISSING BT!?

hey everyone, so i know im a noob and this is only my second post and first thread, but did anyone notice the price drop on the m3450? because im ordering one in late august and integrated bluetooth is about the only thing that i NEED. anyone know what happened? any comments or help? thanks everyone/// xliner

Hey....
I think you are right, didn't the 3450 come with bluetooth as an option when it first came out? I don't see it in the options anymore...

YES! im mad now! i think i saw a tutorial here on the forums on how to like manually inegrate a small LED-lit bluetooth chip under one of the usb ports though... anyone know of that tutorial? thanks...

the drop from $899 to the $849 is cause of the BT. fortunatly i got one in time to get the BT. i dn waht happened. if u want blue tooth, i think someone posted with a soloution for u in the area 51m section of this forum

That was for the m3200, which has one USB port hidden under a hatch next to the optical drive.

u could always add a BT device to an actual usb port if your that desperate. Otherwise just ask their sales rep person.

yep, i e-mailed AW yesterday and they responded by saying that bluetooth is "temporarily unavailable" due to extensive testing on wireless networking and bluetooth because of updates in the technology of those areas... thanks to everyone who helped

thx for checking w/alienware on the BT issue xliner, I was wondering about that myself. Think I'm gonna wait to consider ordering a 3450 until the BT is back.

Unless I fall into money and buy a Voodoopc....but I don't see it happening

no prob... and yeah i'm waiting too until bt is back. besides, alienware looks way cooler than voodoo...
