ATI Video Card 9600

Thread Starter
Hello,

I just got my 8600 with the ATI Mobility 9600 128 Turbo Video Card and I can't play one of my games (Medal of Honor). Do I need a patch from ATI to make this work? Also, I have the display settings set at the reccomended 1920 by 1200 pixels. At this setting the graphics on websites are blurry. When I reduce the display settings the screen shrinks in size and does not make full use of the 15.4 wide screen. Is there a solution to fixing this?

Thanks for any help you can give!

Greg

ps-please forgive me if there is an answer to this question already...I didn't see one.

if you use opera browser you would probably not se blurry images. anyways go to display settings-advanced-general and choose small fonts (96dpi)

so ive heard, i reformated the drive so i didnt notice this.

for radeon driver you could either dl omega driver
http://www.omegacorner.com/index_ati.html

read the readme

or patch the ati catalyst driver
http://www.ati.com/products/catalyst/index.html

get this prog http://www.driverheaven.net/patje/

uninstall the other ati driver, reboot

install the catalyst, when u get message of wrong hardware, open patje prog.
press start modding, install catalyst again and reboot.

thats what i know, maybe gonna try it when i get my machine back.
