Here's what I have dell e1405 spec below

Core Duo T2300 1.6ghz
1gb memory
100gb hard drive
3945 wireless
dvd burner
intergrated video card

I have problem with this notebook when I watch videos from google website. First I have to say the problem is not only with google player. I just get most problems with that player. I get similar problems while watching yahoo music videos and windows media player. But with these two players they are not that frequent. Also the problem that I have with google player doesn't happen all the time. Sometimes it plays fine. So with google player I have this problem, system hangs up, sound and video breaks, system becomes unresponsive for some time. Similar problems I experience with windows media player as well but occuring much less. I called dell support and they are clueless.

Can anybody help me with that?

I used that dell utulity for scanning and it did show any hardware problems.
Windows was reinstalled twice with all of the drivers.
That problem I had since I got that laptop.

I still have time to return it for refund to dell.
