touchpad scrolling problem

Hey, i cant get the touchpad on my w3v to scroll in firefox. any ideas? i reinstalled the driver and it still did not work. it does work in IE though

try updating the driver to the latest version. it should work then.

my pointer just froze in the middle of the screen for about 40 minutes. i tried restarting but no luck. my keyboard navigation skills did improve enormously during the frozen spell, but i'd obviously like to avoid this happening in the future. is this a driver problem? i've got a brand new w3j and very little experience troubleshooting these sorts of things. any ideas appreciated.

try to perform a clean un.install of the mouse devices (system properties)
restart
let xp p.u the standard driver by itself

if problem persists - un.install/re.install ff (this is an old issue with ff not been able to use the laptop touchpad device, an external mouse works however)
