Has anyone had this problem?

I have installed the Platinum Key smartcard security software and I seem to be unable to enter BIOS Setup on boot by pressing F2 (activating the multiboot menu via F12 doesn't work either) - after saying "Please Wait..." momentarily, it just hangs there showing black screen
