When I play counterstrike my fingers sometimes taps the touchpad causing it to shoot or something. Is there any way I can switch between them? Like when I'm using the mouse, to dactivate the touchpad, or when I unplug the mouse, the touchpad works again?

Check your touchpad properties. My touchpad driver has a setting that disables the touchpad when a mouse is present.

Some notebooks have a key stroke to disable it. For example on mine it is fn + F7.

you should also have a synaptics icon in the taskbar if you ever cared to install the proper synaptics driver/utilitties....you can right click on it to disable the touchpad

Some computers have a little button above the touchpad. Press it.

Mines hooked up to to an internal PS2 connection, you could always try the Bios. That works for me and the mouse properties.

Mine has a button by the power button that disables the touchpad and vice versa.

It might help if we knew what laptop you had. Otherwise you'll end up with everybody telling you how they can turn off the touchpad on their laptops (as is happening), and the solution for yours might or might not be one of them.

I don't get it, I pressed it and it doesn't work. The Mail one and the Internet one works though..

Did you have to do anything to get it to work? I installed all my drivers, the internet and e-mail button work as well. I assume the first one is related to wifi. It doesn't work
