Will this HD work with my Inspiron 600m?

My 40gb that came with the system is pretty much dead and constantly getting bad sectors. Time for a new HD. I don't want to buy from Dell, they overprice.

This is the one that came with it:

This is the one I'm looking at:

The only problem is, the notebook harddrive is attached to this platform that slides in and out of the laptop (It's a Dell). It is attached to this platform by 4 screws on the side. Will that 80gb Seagate have those four screw spots so I can attach it?

it probably will. The mounting locations of hard drives is pretty standard. Dell wants to keep their supplier options open, so you can drop in hard drives pretty much at will.

I've replaced hard drives on both my 700m and my kid's 1150 with no problem changing hard drive brands. They all had mounting holes in the same locations.
