Could someone please help me with something

OK so I recently reformatted and reinstalled windows, yadda yadda yadda and decided to disable all the system sounds because they annoy the sh!t out of me. But my problem now is that whenever I log in there is this loud annoying beep. It doesnt happen if I use like sounds for startup and login and everything so I figure it is some way for windows to notify you that you are logged in. However I can just look over and figure that out Anyways, could somebody help me remove this stupid sound and make it go away? Pretty plz?

It's possible that this is a BIOS-independent sound. I'd start there first...

Nah I got it figured out. It was a reg setting. Just had to turn system beeps off in the registry and all gone. At first I thought it could have been a bios type beep but since it kept sounding at the same time every boot up and log in I figured it had to be windows.

For future reference its: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Control Panel/Sound/System Beep and set it to off
