dv5215 printing problems

I have a brand new HP Pavilion dv5215 that doesn't want to print certain graphics. This is the second one in a week, the first one was returned as it had numerous problems including a bad HD. The same grapics will print in one doc but not another. They come out as solid blocks. The printer and documents print fine (same printer) with my Dell laptop. Can anyone help me?

Sounds like it's the printers software, something you haven't set up right.

I've reinstalled with their own print drivers. Also, they work fine with the dell.

Yes I saw where you said it worked fine with the Dell machine.

I'd contact HP (to make them aware of the problem) and the mfg of the printer.

Double check the printer settings... try another printer. (yes I know you want to use that one, thing is some hardware just doesn't "play nice".)

Does the HP work with other printers?

Delete and re-create the document that is causing problems... maybe inserting other graphics.

PS: TIP, post the model number.,mfg of the the printer, what OS your running, etc...

Go to the printer mfg's website, search to see if others are reporting such problems.
