Merom Update

I was able to cinformed that Merom will be "virtually available" by the end of August, however, it won't be in mass production until 4th Quarter of 2006. also we were told not to push Merom until 4th Q because there won't be enough Merom available in the market.

Thanks for the info Ken. Per chance, did they mention any upgrade option for the Ensembles under their global warranty? For example, if I buy the W3J with the Yonah and want the Merom a couple of months later, will Asus do the upgrade for us (plus fee, of course)?

the converstaion was actaully with Intel not Asus, like they said, Merom won't be in mass production till Q4 and it could be sometimes in October, November or December, so we were told not push Merom because they wil only porduce few Meroms from their production line.
