XPS 1710 battery in 9300

Hi i was just wondering if the 1710 battery worked in the 9300? the reason i ask is they cost the same and the 1710 battery is slightly higher capacity. They look like they're the same formfactor but im not sure it the bios would reconise it ( or that it would even fit...)

sorry (last bump i promise) but i want to know because dell gave me some money back, but only for store credit so to speak. so i just wanted to know if this battery would work for my system.

it does, thers a way to hack the 9300 bios to xps bios, it does work, ill get links for in morn, im a bit drunk now,lol

oh one thing though i already have a hacked xps bios (XPS Gen2). Would i have to hack it to the XPS m1710 bios? (i want to use the m1710 battery...)
