Some issues I'm having with my Z61t

Thread Starter
I just got it yesterday but a few issues I've been having that I can't seem to fix....

I have it set to where I close my computer it doesn't shut down..it just stays how I left all the windows. But when I come back, the screen saver has come on and if I move the mouse, it comes back but the screen resolution changes. Everything will be big for like 20 seconds then it goes back to normal. It's annoying because all my icons will be all over the place from the different resolution. How can I fix this?

My other issue is that my computer came with Symantec Antivirus (I'm not sure if they all do but I bought the computer through my school). Anyway when I go to most sites or go to check my yahoo email, I'll get an email pop up saying "The current Web page is trying to open a site in your Trusted sites list. Do you want to allow this?" It'll pop up 2-4 times every time I go to certain sites. I press yes but it doesnt' give me the "don't ask again" option so I get it EVERY time. It's so annoying...does anyone know how to get it to stop asking?

Thanks for any help

My option (you may dislike it though) is to do a clean install of Windows XP, install only the stuff you need, put NOD32 as antivirus, and there you go

All z61t's with the intel graphics chip have this problem. Check this link for a solution! I think it's a bios update, plus some other tricks..

hth!
