Ok so I've had my 1705 for about a month now and I've come to realize that I don't really like the screen, its one of the samsung ones and is basically complete crap. Is it possible to get it changed out for like one of the LG ones if I'm still under warranty? I figured I'd just make something up about how its become darker than the first day I got it. I dunno, just wondering.

Well, you can get a replacement screen put in, the only problem is they will put in what is available at the time.
I just got my LG screen replaced.. it had a broken inverter or something and they replaced it with an AWEFUL samsung.. so now I am awaiting the shipping box so I can ship it back in and try my luck again.
So, I have been without my laptop for 1.5 weeks already and will have another 1.5 weeks until I get my laptop back again and (pray) that it comes with the correct LG screen this time.
So (in short) you can get your screen replaced if you truly have an issue with it (I find excessive light bleeding a valid reason to replace a screen) but be prepared to play the ship--wait--wait--wait--recieve--disapointed--ship--wait--wait--etc... game for a while.
