And then one day, I saw the deal for the XBox 360 over at Overstock for $360 shipped, I immediately pulled the trigger since I already have a 57" HDTV and boy oh boy, I never realized that console gaming (especially next-gen) could be as much fun as PC!
And the best part is the simplicity of console gaming.....insert the disk, lay back on the leather couch and u r fragging in minutes without having to post a thread online asking whether your system is capable of running it in the first place or not . Even though the 360 games are like $60 but since I 'joined in' so late, I can buy the older games for less than $40 (GRAW, Oblivion, CoD2, Black, GTA-SA).
Becuase of the 360 and availabilty of good games (plus backward compactible games like GTA-SA), its pushed back my future Conroe build and for the first time in my life, Im not hurrying to get back into PC gaming

what makes you say the cost of pc gaming? xbox 360s are still in the high 300's plus correct? and still 20-50 bucks a game no?
so after you get all the cool games, acc. for the xbox 360, youre looking at the cost of a budget pc
i suck at halo on xbox, i rule on computer, computers and gaming are super flexable
and yes the graphics can be better on a console, but guess what, thats all they are ment for, graphics
