Programming the ACPI Control System for the 5720

Hi all,

I'm a user of Notebook Hardware Control (NHC) - http://www.pbus-167.com/nhc/nhc.htm
In the latest version you can amend the ACPI of your system.

Sadly, I can't program at all so was wondering if anyone here can?
Once 1 person writes a ACPI Control System source file, all other users with the same system can use this file.

I would love to be able to edit the control of hardware components like LCD brightness, WLAN,
notebook temperature or fan of the notebook. And think many other user would love the same.

Who can help?

p.s. also see this (german) forum;

Seconded. I've read through the info sheet that NHC provides and have found myself scratching my head. If anyone knows c#, please help!

Here the M570A (5720) DSL file from the latest bios:

http://www.badongo.com/file/1165011

It lists:

AC
Battery
Button
Container
Fan
Prozessor
Thermal
Video
etc...

Lot of possibilities

I would love to get a Fan Control for the 5720 to get that thing more silent!

Hmmm, ok... anyone know what to do with this file?

I read over the German thread and they've made as much progress as us.... that is, none. I have some friends who program c# that have volunteered to look over the information contained on NHC's website in their spare time. They don't have much discretionary time, though, so we should keep researching as well.
