Hi guys just happened to post a pic of my triple display setup in a dell thread and a couple of the guys were curious to know how it looked like completed
anyway dun really have time to take better pics as in how the displays aligned and stuff, but here are a couple i took when i was putting it all together

oh yeah i will be changing my layout again soon because my table is too small and also the height of the monitors is a couple of inches too high for my liking .. oh yeah and also need the bigger table to accomadte my XPS 1210 !!.. heh heh

Woah man thats sweet

for that 6-monitor display, wouldn't you need at least 7 dvi ports? i mean, doesn't the 30" require 2 dvi, and then 5 more (one for each of the 20" screens)? maybe i'm wrong though.
It should only require 6 dvi ports. Ive never heard of any single monitor(even a60in plasma) that would require 2 DVI ports. Im not quite sure what that would even do, split a signal or combine 2??

well, both the dell and apple 30" monsters say they require a dual-link graphics card, which i always assumed meant that the monitor needed 2 dvi ports to plug into... i guess i was wrong.

Wish I had this kinda money to blow

Em, what do you need in order to connect three screens? Three VGA/DVI ports? Or do you use some sort of converter?
could use a agp graphics card along with a cheap pci graphics card, or 2 pcie cards in a sli array for 4 monitors, and combined gpu power. if i am correct.

You can use on card to a Matrox Triplehead2Go http://www.matrox.com/mga/offhome/th2go/home.cfm

best if you have 1280X1024 native display on each monitor.

Or you could go the 2 card route with 1 AGP and 1 PCI or 2 PCI-E

Or another option is workstation level graphics cards like an Appian Xentera.

Dual link DVI Means that it uses all the pins on a DVI Port. It doesnt mean that you need 2 DVI ports. It is used for the high resolution 30" and above like 2560x1800 resolution

Its nice but the different monitors lower the overall quality. Too inconsistent
