I would open up the case and unplug the coin cell battery from the motherboard. Also remove the system battery and unplug it from the wall. Let it sit for a half hour or so, then put it all back together and the bios should go back to a factory state. The only other way is to short out the two bios reset terminals for a full bios reset, but I wouldnt know where they would be (or if they would even be there) on a notebook mobo.

Unfortunately the password is stores in an eeprom, which will last (close to) a lifetime, even without any power at all.

There was an old hack where you could short the eeprom pins to "corrupt" it, forcing the bios to blank it, getting rid of the password. I revived an old C640 that way.

I don't know where the password is stored on the newer models though.

some folks on Ebay sell the Chip that you install in place of the original, that maybe your only choice
