I have a I8600 WSXGA that I got last week and got my docking station in this week and got it set up. I've noticed that normal laptop use by using it's own LCD has very small fonts, icons, etc. I have my old 15" compaq monitor attached to the docking station. When I use the old compaq monitor the fonts, icons, etc are huge and take up ALOT of the screen size. I got on screen properties and changed the res to 1024x768(or whatever it is) which is the highest setting for this monitor. Would I have to get a bigger monitor that supports a higher resolution to get the monitor screen more like the LCD screen on the laptop? Also, I've noticed when I undock it goes back to the resolution setting on it's own? Is that normal?
