Hi Newbie2,
Yes, mine is the UK version, built in Ireland.
As far as I can see, the keyboard is very similar with the exception of the relocation of a few keys and a much larger, enter key which suits me just fine!
Obviously, there is the pound sign on the "3" key (dollar is on the "4"). The backspace key doesn't have the wording, just the back arrow and the "@" and "#" are relocated. Other than that, not a lot of difference.
As far as how it feels in use. It's very positive, slightly spongy but much better than the clattering keys of an Acer I also use and far quiter and more professional feeling than my works Toshiba. The only downside I've noticed is that all the function keys at the top of the keyboard flex slightly when you hold "Fn" and press a function key but not a real problem. The space bar is fine as far as I can see. The only thing I have noticed is that it is getting shiny on the right-hand side but that's oils from my thumb. Can't blame Alienware for that. All in all, it's a very pleasant keyboard to use.
Hope that helps.
Al
