New 91.36 Quadro Drivers

Looks like Nvidia recently (08/14/06) released their new set of drivers. I am installing the new drivers now in hopes that it will shutdown my laptop's backlight when closing the lid. Read more about it here:

http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_91.36

I'll let you know what my impressions of this driver is and I'll make sure to compare the 3dMark05 scores between the latest Dell one and this one.

Tried to use it on 2500m. But you have to edit the ini-file. I did something wrong with this. The driver was installed properly but nothing ran well. Errors on every click lol. Now I am using the 91.45 from laptopvideo2go.

How are the 91.45's running?

Yup, wasn't able to install it as it didn't locate drivers that are compatible with my video card. Weird!

I don't see the 2500m listed in their supported drivers .pdf, so I guess that's why.

I am also interest in knowing how well the 91.45 drivers work. Does it turn your LCD off when you close the lid?

I don't think the drivers are compatible with the Mobile version of the Quadro FX and NVS. If you read the User's Guide pdf it won't show neither cards in the supported cards list. I guess I have to stick with the Dell drivers for now.

It didn't work for me...I softmodded my 6800 go on my 9300 and when I closed the lid, the screen stays on.
