FS: E1705 for $950 shipped!!

Thread Starter
I am selling an E1705 laptop that I had actually purchased from a member here on the board at the beginning of May. Nothing is wrong with the laptop, I just wanted more and ended up buying another laptop with maxed out specs from another member on the forum. Specs as follows:

Intel Core Duo T2400 1.83GHz processor
17in XGA+ 1440x900 native resolution screen
60GB 7200RPM hard drive
Intel Pro wireless 3945
8x DVD +/- RW w/dbl layer write capability
1 GB DDR2 SDRAM 677MHz
256MB Nvidia GeForce Go 7800

The unit is refurbished but carries the same 1Yr Ltd warranty and 1Yr onsite service and 1yr HW warranty support that a brand new laptop comes with. Here is the link to the previous listing:

The price is $950 shipped to the lower 48 states. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for looking!

No Dells "blow up"; it is only the batteries, and those are free to replace.

As the guys said....it is the battery pack not the laptop that blows up. I have verifed the battery model number with the ones listed as defective and this one is not on the list. I am not looking for any trades.....I need the $$. I have attached some pics.

I have attached some screen caps of 3dmark05 scores. SC of 500/658 achieved 4005 with temp never going above 75. OC of 680/835 achieved 5314 never going above 78. This is with no volt mod. Higher scores could be obtained with a volt mod but higher temps will also be achieved. I never volt modded.....I was happy with the performance of the software OC.

Do you accept PayPal? Purchased a 9300 of these forums almost a year ago and it never came, so I would like some reassurance before commiting. And willing to pay the $900 offer. Regards, KW
