Aviator MV6 beeps?

I just got my laptop a few days ago and haven't yet had a chance to really sit down and do much with it, but I have noticed that for some reason it makes a soft, high pitched beep almost constantly. From what I can tell, it's coming from the battery. I switched the battery out for the spare, but it keeps beeping. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. <3

does it beep w/o the battery?

I get beeping on my CX6 from the onboard sound when I plug in my headphones. Don't know if maybe what you're hearing is actually the speakers. Seems there's some interference on the mobo with the sound chip.
