xps m1210 dissapointed

well i got it five days a go and yesterday there was a frying sound coming from the bottom and the system wouldnt boot. anyways i took it on an airplane and was told that i couldnt use it because of the camera. the only reason y i got the m1210 was because of the camera. is it possible for me to exchange it for the e1505 without having to pay for restockng fees. and i called dell and they r sending me a box but before i senf it i want to know if i can excahnge it wihtout paying a restocking fee

i've never paid a restocking fee before and i've returned about 3 systems

heh? no cameras on plane? i always see people taking pics on plane... wot's wrong with using cameras on the plane?

WHAT THE HELL..i dont think so either!! i was just on a flight last week to san diego and they didnt care at all..and i then went to miami and got back yesterday (both ways had to to go thru extra security) and nothing about not allowing cameras!! the girl next to me was taking digital pictures outside her window while we were taking off ..there was a chinese couple taking pictures with a stewardess..i took video of a guy wigging out across from me w/ my M1210..(he had never flown before..it was hilarious!!).....WHY IN THE HELL COULDNT U HAVE CAMERAS ON A PLANE...if anything ..they would promote it...lol ...i think home land security asks that u do... i think this thread is some kind of joke

don't worry they might charge u shippimg depend if u go to tech support first... I returned my m1210 for a e1505 and they are similar but gaming was better on half life 2 w my m1210 w 1.83 core duo as opposed to 1.66 and 7400 graphics 7200 rpm hd...
