1) I am very puzzled by this. It states the package is 8 Lbs. yet the laptop weighs more than that doesn't it??

2) It originated in California, isn't Hypersonic located in New York??

Cool.

My status is stuck in queue, but they told me a couple of days ago that it was still in line to ship next week.

BTW when I was in the 1st graduating class of Coral Springs, Parkland was just a few dirt roads, & Coral Springs was billed as "The City in the Country!"

Sorry, I didn't see your whole post B4 I replied. I'm out of town & posting from my PDA phone, and the whole page was slow to load.

The weight may be just what they declared, or else the just shipped you a carrying case & AC adapter!

Perhaps they actually do the assembly in CA, but I've never read any indication of that. Maybe they paid sager to do it.

In any event, you must be getting closer to holding it.

Yeah, disappointments abound. I emailed Hypersonic, out of the box my screen flickers (brighter and darker, not on and off). This was out of the box and I emailed them, but haven't heard anything back yet. It stops for a few minutes when I use the Fn + brightness button, but comes back within a few minutes.

Oh well, will wait and see what I hear, although I might use their 7 day no questions asked return policy and try something different, MAYBE!! Not sure, but I have until Wednesday to make up my mind. We'll see.

Did you hear back yet, I have had poor experience with their e-mail support. It's best to actually call them (imho).

As for you Screen flickering, do the power status LEDs flicker also. Some of these units will dim the screen a bit when they are running on batteries. Could be a loose power connection somewhere. Hope all goes well.
