i used to use them all the time. last time i used them (it had been a while since id used them), i selected a dell, and they told me to buy pc3200.
i get the ram, and low and behold it only goes up to pc2700 speeds. i thought, what gives? well, crucial screwed up and offered to buy the ram back. but since it was working, i just gave it back to the customer.
ps. the p4 chip was an 800mhz chip running on a 533 fsb. the bus speed apparently crucial researched to be 800, when in fact it was only 533.
just be wary. (sp?)
